What happens if you request a credit report and have no credit?

Hello! We have found another secured loan question for you to ponder.
Out of curiosity, I decided to request a free credit report from annualcreditreport.com. I am 23, but I’ve never had any credit cards, loans, or rent so I assumed my reports would come back saying my credit was zero or that I had “no credit history”. Instead, all 3 credit companies tell me that my identity can not be verified and therefore I can’t get an online credit report. Is this what normally happens when someone with no credit history requests a report, or should I be worried that that the credit companies have bad information about me?
We really hope that this secured loan question and answers will improve your knowledge on this subject.
Ya’ll come back now! Ya hear!

Normal. No need to worry about anything.
Google: Secured Cards.
Citi and Orchard have good ones.
Replace the money in full each month. No games of carrying balances.
This will develop some credit in case you ever need a car loan or a home someday.

the security questions were all trick questions did you answer them correctly. You actually have no report till you apply for credit. The CRB’s have no idea who anyone is or their SSN till it is given to them by a registered lender. This is why credit fraud is fairly easy. Anyone with 1/10 of a brain can create a credit history which is why lying on loan applications is a felony to discourage such actions
