do u have to pay a promissory note/loan on a house if the family member who made it is deceased?

Hello! Here is an interesting secured loan question with some good answers.

I now own the house and was paying it. The last few months Ive been having trouble getting the bill and would like to stop payment.

    The loan is secured by the house. If payments aren’t made on the loan, the lender takes the house.
